Yes! We are proud to be the only original sailcloth tent provider on island. We were formally Sperry Tents of Nantucket but in 2010 expanded to become Nantucket Tents.

Yes! We love to travel off island to make your event dreams come true with our tent structures, flooring and beyond. We have two sister companies, Sperry Tents of South Florida and Sperry Tents of Washington DC.

As island natives, we understand the impact weather can have. We do our best to guide you in the planning process to accommodate any weather-related problems that may arise. But in the rare case that wind exceeds 40 mph, safety is of highest importance and being outdoors in a temporary structure is not advised.

Our trained staff will do a site visit to confirm the placement of your event tent. Don’t worry, we have several tent options if one style tent does not work for your location.

We always suggest having an on-site attendant to assist on the day of your event. If you choose to not have an on-site attendant, we cannot guarantee immediate assistance from our trained crew. Please keep in mind, depending on the size of your event, it is often required to have an on-site attendant. Trust us, it’s important!

In most cases, no. However, if you are using any of our tents with staking, it is required that you, your caretaker or the irrigation company flag all sprinkler heads prior to tent install.

It is not required but floors are ideal for both beaches and uneven surfaces. To find the flooring that is perfect for you, view our flooring options here.

Select flooring options when left in place for longer than three days may impact the health of your lawn with some discoloration but leave no permanent damage.

All tents over 4000sq ft or on the beach require a tent permit from the Town of Nantucket. Our office staff will take care of these permits for a small administrative fee.
